short and sweet

Shorts are something that I have not worn in years--and I do mean years!--but I'm inspired to try wearing them again. Now that I'm living in a warm climate, I'm realizing that my wardrobe needs are changing, which means finding new ways to look and feel cool. So I've been searching for inspiration, and finding lots of cute ways to wear shorts. I'm loving shorts with blouses, scarves, tanks, belts, jackets, long necklaces, and pretty embellishments. Short and sweet is the look I'm going for.

: bliss : parasols

A wedding trend I'm loving is parasols. Whether carried by brides, maids, or flower girls, or used as decoration at the reception, parasols evoke a serene romantic mood. They make such a gorgeous accessory. And they would definitely be helpful for keeping cool on a hot day! I especially like pale pink, floral, and b&w styles.
