i heart stripes

I'm craving a striped 3/4 sleeve top, preferably grey and/ or navy blue. After seeing Audrey Tautou wearing a striped top in the film "Coco" about Coco Chanel, I've been wanting one. So chic, non? I especially like the top with the adorable bow on the back.

Even more fab would be a full-skirted striped cotton sundress, like the one featured in the vintage pic above. But that would have to wait until warm weather returns, I suppose.

As you probably know, Karl Lagerfeld not only designs fabulous clothing for Chanel and his own line, he also takes gorgeous photographs, like these. I'm entranced by the beauty and glamour of these images.

Pink Tuscan Villa

Doesn't this pink house in Tuscany seem like the perfect place for a holiday? I mean, it's pink, it's romantic, and it's in Italy. Say no more!

Of course, I'm quite content to be here in Australia, don't get me wrong. I just like to look at pretty pictures of pretty places sometimes.

pink trench coat lust

Last weekend, my boyfriend whisked me away to the coast for a lovely romantic getaway (happy sigh).

While walking around the little seaside town where we stayed, I spied a beautiful pale pink trench coat in a shop window. The trench was the perfect strawberry sorbet kind of color, and it had an unusual collar shape. The store was closed, though, so I couldn't even go in to look at it!

Now I'm daydreaming of going back there and getting that coat, not to mention daydreaming of moving to the beach!

Hmmm...maybe seaside housing prices will go down soon...
