I'm loving the ikat fabric trend going on in fashion and decor these days. The patterns are timelessly cool, and the colors range from subtle to exuberant. There is just something special about these lively patterned fabrics.

Really like this post. A great array of examples of this fabric trend. I think I loved it most on the bowls because it's a bit more unexpected. Really loved it all.

ReplyDeletebeautiful! I've just got a gorgeous library book "British Textiles". This fabric has the pattern woven on the warp, such materials were known in England as 'clouds'.
